Eat is operated by Chance Kelch for an invited family. It stores family meal preferences, dinner plans, shopping information and connected calendar information to coordinate dinners.
If you enable texts, Eat stores your phone number, verification and consent status, delivery records and replies needed to process dinner confirmations. Twilio processes phone verification and text delivery. Application data is hosted on AWS. Connected Google Calendar data is used for meal scheduling and dinner events. Recipe discovery sends your description and anonymized meal preferences to OpenAI.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers process the information needed to operate these features.
You can disconnect Google Calendar and stop texts in Settings. Reply STOP to stop texts. To request deletion of your stored information, contact chance.kelch@gmail.com. Encrypted backups expire on the backup retention schedule, currently 35 days.
